Missing the most basic function!

How is it that a $10 app can’t complete the most basic function that countless free apps does. It is a nightmare to use this app since I am forced to switch back and forth between this and the calendar app. WHY?? PLEASE add the ability to add/edit iCal events. I want to use this as my only calendar, but with the lack of this feature it is impossible. Also please add a complete month view. With the large screen on macs there should be a month view for the schedule, as well as one for assignments. This is the only version of the app that doesn’t have colored dots for events on the mini calendar. That is extremely important to quickly know what events are on the calendar.
