iStudiez Pro Legendary Planner App Reviews

When I’m editing my assignments I can’t highlight, select or click in the text with my mouse. If I didn’t know key board shortcuts I wouldn’t be able to actually edit assignments after I create them. This is very frustrating and hopefully a future update will fix this problem. I also wish that I could make the window smaller. Takes up around 1/3 of my screen at its smallest which makes it difficult to actually view an assignment and then the requirements for the assignment at the same time; being able to shrink this down as small as I need/want to would be great. Other than that it’s a great application.

I’ve had this app since 2009, and have loved it. I recently bought it for my Mac as well, but am having a difficult time getting the semesters to sync across both units. The new semester shows up n my Macs calendar, but I can’t add assignments to that semester, etc.

I use this app to stay organized in college,but every time i have a project to do and add the project as a task, i don’t have any kind of button , or someplace i can fill with my progress in a specific task , if you guys put that in the app, i will give 5 starts ,because that would helpe me a lot Thanks

I purchased this app three years ago and it was one of the very BEST purchases that I’ve ever made for college! But I do wish you would add a few additional features… 1) The ability to add things that need to be done but aren’t actually assigned, like reading over a section before the class lecture 2) The ability to add in a lesson plan. For example, the first day will cover section 1.3, next class will cover 1.4, ect. 3) There are some issues with scheduling exams, like the inability to mark them complete. Other than that, this app is FANTASTIC and has really improved me as a student!

literally 10$ is way over priced for something you could easily right down a notebook or set reminders for on your phone. WHAT A JOKE. stupid app. WHAT A WASTE OF 10$

I absolutely love this app and what i am able to do with it, it makes it super simple to orgnaize assignemnts and things i need to get done. but after the update i am no longer able to see any of my classes in the daily planner after the second week of class, although this isnt that big of deal it is frustrating for how much i paid for the app

This is a truly excellent application for students. It is packed with many helpful features and is relatively intuitive and easy to use. The design is also top-notch and pleasing to the eye. The customizability and integration with OS X of this app make it a true standout and highly recommended for anyone looking for a way to keep track of their assignments, grades, schedule, and more. On the downside, the app could offer a bit more customization when it comes to the weightings of a given class’ grading system. In addition, and this is a very important and simple fix, some of the app is not yet optimized for the Retina Display, which diminishes what is otherwise a beautiful and fluid user interface. Overall, though, one would be hard-pressed to find a more extensive application of this kind right now (even if there’s room for improvement), and if the inconsistent optimization of the interface isn’t a concern, this app comes highly recommended.

I’m a sophmore at the University of Alabama and this is a great app. I wish I used it Freshman year, it allows me to be organized and that can be a lifesaver at times. Today, it crashed and I lost all of the data when I tried to set it up again when logging into my account. I lost info on my exams in a couple of weeks and the dates. It is very inconvenient and please fix this, I don’t want this to happen again.

I’ve noticed that when I try to display some calendars, nothing shows up. I tried to display my Personal (iCloud) calendar and other events started to look funny ( making room for events in that Personal calendar that didn’t exist). I also own the iPad version of this app and some eening calendar events don’t show up. Everything else within the app works great, but trying to work with external calendars is pretty buggy. PLease fix this in the next release. ~ Joe

I’m currently a little freshman in an all girls private high school! Because their standards reach so high, I really needed something to allow myself to easily keep up with its curriculum. So I sought iStudiez Pro. The app is actually extremely helpful and really organizes things. I could quickly contact my teachers, plan assignments for the future, and it helped me to study. Although, I noticed there was no place to store info like weekly shcedules, current grades, etc. And I really needed stuff like that. My shedule is mixed up by day and I would want to see my schedule, current grades, and even goals for the quarter/semester/year. So, yes, I think the app is well-managed and very helpful, but limited in some areas. Over-all I would recommend, it just needs a few touch-ups.

I don’t usually write reviews because I find them a waste of time, although when certain apps stand out or really do make a difference, I take the time to write one. I started uing iStudiez pro when I was a senior in Highschool. I had a lot of trouble of getting things on time, and I would always forget about assignments. Since I don’t like writing things down, and I’m always on my phone- I had searched tons of places and had used a lot of apps. It was really frustrating because they would never be really easy to set up and I just felt like I was always wasting my time when I could be just doing my homework. When I found iStudiez lite I instantly fell in love with it. When I learned that there was a pro version, I knew I just had to have it. The app has a sleek feeling to it, and even though I feel as if the icon could be updated to fix the sleek feel of El Capitan, it’s all still very nice looking. Although down to the hardware of the app. It does evrything I want it and it always makes sure I do my assingments. WIth constant reminders, and being able to set priorities for certain assignment, this app really makes sure I do all of my work. I’m also OCD about having notifcations show up on my homescreen, so getting them done the faster is better imo. At the end of the day, if you’re looking for a nice, easy to use, sleek app that makes sure you get all of your work done- I would definetly reccommend this app. It also has full iCloud sync for all of your devices, and even though the applications do cost money, it’s honestly such a great deal. I even bought my friend this application because she too struggles with keeping her assingments all in one place and actually doing them. Because of iStudiez pro, I have become more diligent in doing my work, and it has hoenstly saved my life now that I’m in college and assignments are flying all over. * Also, if you ever have a techinical problem, I would highly suggest you email their technical suport. I was really skeptical at first about ever getting a response because I was having a huge iCloud syncing issue (it wouldn’t sync, and all of my stuff was gone) and I was really worried that this experience would force me to find another app, but low and behold! They emailed me right back the next morning! I have to say, I was really amazed that they’re that attentive on really pleasing their customers and because of all of these reasons- I am rating a 5. (: *They also don’t constantly remind you or force you to rate their app, so that’s even greater. SUGGESTIONS FOR THE DEVELOPER: If it’s possible, do you think you could ever add a capability where we can attach links/pdfs/files? Sometimes when I input my assingments there’s an important file/pdf/doc that is attached, but since I can’t attach- it’s kind of a down side to that part.

How is it that a $10 app can’t complete the most basic function that countless free apps does. It is a nightmare to use this app since I am forced to switch back and forth between this and the calendar app. WHY?? PLEASE add the ability to add/edit iCal events. I want to use this as my only calendar, but with the lack of this feature it is impossible. Also please add a complete month view. With the large screen on macs there should be a month view for the schedule, as well as one for assignments. This is the only version of the app that doesn’t have colored dots for events on the mini calendar. That is extremely important to quickly know what events are on the calendar.

I’ve used this app on my iPhone for several semesters now, and it has helped me keep track of my studies. I got the Mac app half-price for the holidays, but I’m disappointed in the content. I am unable to add calendar events, even though you can do so in the iPhone app! What gives? I want to use this as my main calendar but it’s a bummer when I have to keep switching back to the iCalendar or use my phone and sync. The design is also a bit boring this time around, I was hoping for something more interesting considering that I had to pay $5 for it (I can imagine the disappointment of those who had to pay $10). Until these features are fixed, I would suggest using MyStudyLife instead - it’s free, and you get more features than you do here.

This app has been extremely helpful to me over the past few years in college. However, over the course of the past semester I have repeatedly had issues signing into the application. First my iPhone and iPad would not sync together, which was very frustrating as I use both of them daily to keep track of what I need to do and have already done. This was very frustrating but did eventually get resolved. But now the macbook app won’t even let me pull up the page to log into it, which again, is very frustrating. I LOVE this app. It has helped me figure out how to stay organized and keep everything I need to know for school in one place. And dispite these login issues I have been having, I still would recommend it to a friend (especially if they are only going to use it on one device, then the issues I have been having wont really effect them anyway).

I absolutely love everything about this app. It helps me stay organized for all of my classes and assingments. The only thing I wish you could add is a Pass/Fail option for grading.

I have used this app since my first semester in college and it is great! It is so helpful having everything (exams, assignments,grades, class schedule, etc.) all in one place and have it remind you when everyhting is due. It is absolutely worth paying for!

It syncs. It’s simple. It works. Track assignments and quizzes, and record grades to see how you’re doing this semester. An easy app icon badge shows you how many assignments you have left. Holidays? Tell iStudiez when and it can automatically shift your schedule (or not). View all your calendar events here too. And it has a great companion iPad/iPhone/Apple Watch app. iStudiez, it would be really nice (though this is a bit of an odd request) to have a companion app on the Pebble Time smartwatch. That would be amazing :).

iStudiez Pro is the most useful app I have ever downloaded. I started using it my first semester in college and found it to be incredibly helpful for keeping track of all my assignments. It is extremely robust and has a ton of features that I use on a regular basis. The professor contacts list is very helpful; I enter office hours in the notes section and that way I don’t have to go searching in my syllabus to find when they will be around. The ability to customize the grading policy for each individual course allows me to always know what my grade is in the class, and has even helped me discover discrepencies between my own recordkeeping and the offical gradeboook my professor’s have posted on my college’s LMS. This app is a must have for any college student.

Never forget another assignment! Keep track of your grades! Sync between devices! Throw out assignment notebooks forever! Seriously download and pay for premium. Game changer for me in my studies!
